Digital Literacy

May 8, 2009 03:54 by Admin
Becta and North West Learning Grid have produced a very useful resource supporting Digital Literacy It asks the user a series of questions on issues such as: how they get information on the Web; how they shop;..download stuff. After the questions have been answered, it offers some useful observations. Well worth a look.

This is a great link, and an excellent resource!

Lots of schools who our charity have helped to run personal access projects (equipping all students with a PDA/mini laptop/console to use at home and at school) have mentioned to me that they've found it important to reinforce skills like this at the start of projects. I'll definitely be recommending it...
